The book: Let It Snow: three holiday romances by John Green, Maureen Johnson and Lauren Myracle. I ordered this book over a year ago but I'm just now getting around to reading it. I didn't read it last holiday season when I originally purchased and once the season passed I felt like I should wait. I prefer to read holiday stories during the actual holidays. That being said, so far the first story, Maureen Johnson's, is cute and fun which is what I expected. The Tea: Plain old Earl Greyer from the Republic of Tea. I started drinking Earl Grey when I was a kid because Captain Picard drank it all the time in Star Trek...it just stuck I guess. There's not much that makes this Earl Grey any better than Twinings or another brand, but I prefer it nonetheless.
Do they go together?: Hmmm, I feel I'd be better suited drinking something like Chai or Cinnamon tea that has a more winter feel to it, but warm liquids still put me in cold-weather kind of mood. I'd say they go together more than the bottle of scotch sitting three feet away from me.
Thursday Tea is hosted by Birdbrain(ed).net. It's simple, blog the book you're reading, the tea you're drinking and if they go together!
